Our Convictions about church life:
- We are an Anglican Church
We are an Anglican Church family. We stand on the doctrinal foundations of the Anglican Church (the 39 Articles, the Book of Common Prayer and the Ordinal). We stand with faithful Anglicans around the world in affirming the 2008 Jerusalem Statement and Declaration. We are part of the Anglican Mission in England (AMiE), which is a nationwide fellowship of faithful Anglican Churches.
- We are a Bible church
We believe the Bible is God’s Word written. The Bible is central to our church family life. It is the basis for our Sunday services, small group ministry, our fellowship together and our outreach to the local community. We share this commitment to biblical gospel ministry with other evangelical churches in the North-East Gospel Partnership.
- We are a Community church
We serve the local community. As part of our community, we seek to serve the people in the local area and share with them the hope which Jesus offers.
